The main drainage system of the waterboard of Hollands Noorderkwartier is completely modelled in 2D. All polders
and their pumpstations are modelled as 0D/1D forcing of the drainage system. The main water system contains
several lakes, and is completely modelled in 2D to be able to take wind effects into account.
Because the model is mainly using the 2D modelling concept it is fast and ready to be used as an operational model.
